What you will do

• Define and execute the global applications strategy and roadmap for the Spatial Biology portfolio.
• Lead the development, validation, and expansion of applications for RNAscope, Comet, and future spatial biology technologies.
• Generate scientific data and technical content demonstrating product performance and supporting technology adoption.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Applications Scientists and scientific leaders across global locations.
• Partner with Product Management, Marketing, R&D, and Commercial teams on portfolio planning, commercialization, and customer applications.
• Build relationships with academic institutions, key opinion leaders, research centers, and strategic partners while representing hirify.global at scientific events.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific training in a relevant life sciences discipline; a PhD in a related field is preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in life sciences, molecular biology, translational research, pathology, imaging, spatial biology, assay development, or a related discipline.
• Up to 5 years of experience leading scientific, applications, or translational research teams.
• Experience building high-performing scientific organizations and executing strategies that support product adoption, business growth, and customer success.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional programs and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Work authorization in the United States that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience leading geographically distributed or global teams.
• Experience with commercialization of life sciences tools, molecular diagnostics, or research technologies.
• Experience with spatial biology, tissue analysis, molecular imaging, or biomarker development technologies.
• Experience establishing scientific collaborations and managing external research partnerships.
