Field Service Engineer (Food Technology)

Location: Toledo, Spain; candidates must be based in or around Madrid, Toledo, Valladolid, or Guadalajara. Hybrid, home-based contract with field travel primarily across Spain and Portugal, up to 80% of the time.

Salary: from €26,700 gross yearly.

What you will do

• Install, commission, operate, test, optimize, maintain, and repair hirify.global sorting equipment.
• Diagnose technical issues and restore optimal machine performance for customers.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical adjustments and configurations.
• Train customers on system operation and maintenance and provide technical advice.
• Prepare service reports and collaborate with internal teams to support customers.
• Travel primarily within Spain, with occasional international travel.

Requirements

• Technical education in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or technical customer support.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment, analog and digital circuits, power supplies, and PLCs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and knowledge of IT, networking, and PC configuration.
• Fluent Spanish and English at minimum B2 level required.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills, willingness to travel up to 80%, and a valid driver's license.
