Industrial Maintenance Technician II

Location: 670 Hardy Rd, Painesville, Ohio, USA; onsite work required. Work schedule: 7AM–7PM on a 2-2-3 schedule, with scheduled and spontaneous overtime and occasional weekend work.

Hourly pay: $31.37–$41.41, based on experience.

What you will do

• Diagnose failures, replace defective components, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, conveyor, production, and facility equipment.
• Perform planned, predictive, preventive, and breakdown maintenance using testing instruments, schematics, drawings, manuals, and precision tools.
• Complete work orders, preventive maintenance procedures, and spare-parts records in the Agility MMS system.
• Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical power, lighting, electronic, control, relay logic, DC drive, and PLC systems.
• Apply LOTO, confined-space, OSHA, 5S, housekeeping, and shop-safety procedures.
• Support engineers and production teams, prepare new equipment for operation, improve processes, and maintain buildings, HVAC, plumbing, masonry, woodwork, grounds, and janitorial systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintenance trade school or college program certificates.
• Minimum 5 years of previous maintenance experience required.
• Applicable specialty certifications and licenses, or the ability to obtain them within the required timeframe.
• Mechanical, electrical, technical, mathematical, troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety, productivity, and quality standards.

Nice to have

• Experience or ability with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of relay logic, DC drives, and PLC systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google applications.
