What you will do

• Plan and perform routine and semi-routine setups and machining operations across multiple manual and numerically controlled machine tools.
• Select tooling, speeds, feeds, fixtures, and standard machining methods within established parameters.
• Manufacture precision components and tooling from blueprints, drawings, sketches, and process documentation.
• Apply shop mathematics and geometric calculations to meet dimensional and tolerance requirements.
• Inspect work using precision measurement equipment and adjust tooling or processes to correct routine deviations.
• Diagnose minor machine and process problems, perform basic equipment maintenance, and support production, quality, safety, and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, blueprint interpretation, dimensional tolerances, shop mathematics, and precision inspection techniques.
• Ability to independently complete standard machine setups and resolve routine production issues.
• Ability to work onsite in Shelby, North Carolina, United States.
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing quality systems, traceability, configuration-controlled documentation, or similar regulated manufacturing requirements is preferred.
