TL;DR
Material Associate (Supply Chain): Supporting lean enterprise material-flow strategy and manufacturing materials planning with an accent on PFEP, replenishment systems, inventory control, ERP/WMS data, and shortage mitigation. Focus on optimizing material conveyance routes, synchronizing material consumption with production, and solving inventory and production-planning issues through cross-functional analysis.

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; the role combines office-based work with physical activity in field or production environments.

Pay range: $46,300.00–$71,300.00 per year across U.S. locations.

What you will do

  • Support the standardization, advancement, and implementation of a lean enterprise material-flow strategy.
  • Maintain KPIs, PFEP, replenishment systems, WMS, inventory controls, production scheduling, and related IT systems.
  • Update ERP parameters and maintain documentation to support materials strategy and change management.
  • Analyze ERP, spreadsheet, and other data to forecast workload, identify trends, and support decisions.
  • Improve parts shortages, inventory accuracy, material availability, and damage reduction.
  • Support projects involving point-of-use delivery, Kanban, material conveyance routes, and synchronization of material consumption with production.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Materials, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience or knowledge in materials, supply chain, production planning, inventory control, or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with lean material-flow concepts such as PFEP, point-of-use delivery, replenishment systems, or Kanban.
  • Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems and strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, and manufacturing teams.
  • Ability to perform occasional physical tasks, including walking, standing, moderate lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, and working around varying temperatures or noise.
