Supervisor, Inventory Management

Location: Rochester, New York, United States. Onsite second shift, Monday–Thursday, 3:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m.

Salary: $50,500–$77,788 annually for applicable locations, including New York State.

What you will do

• Supervise second-shift personnel and processes across the JROC Stockroom and Order Fulfillment area.
• Oversee configuration, kitting, crane, OEM, stockroom, shipping, and receiving activities.
• Reallocate labor and resources with shift leadership to meet operational demands.
• Analyze inventory, demand, work-in-progress, delivery, and financial data; report findings and recommendations.
• Implement inventory-reduction best practices using lean manufacturing and support continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Maintain cycle counts, year-end WIP counts, material controls, safe storage, scrap management, and department performance measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience, an associate degree and 6 years of experience, or at least 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience leading or supervising a materials team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with inventory control, shipping and receiving, material handling, and production-control processes.
• Preferred: 5+ years using MRP, ERP, or WMS systems.
• CPIM or CLTD certification through APICS or an equivalent credential is preferred.
• The role is based onsite in Rochester, New York, and may require eligibility for a security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
