Operations Support Service Lead, Production Control

Location: Blue Ash, Ohio, at the Cincinnati, Ohio facility; U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance are required.

What you will do

• Lead the Operations Support Services organization supporting daily execution of the manufacturing production plan.
• Translate master production schedules and Production Control priorities into executable actions for manufacturing operations.
• Monitor production status, schedule attainment, shortages, WIP, work orders, constraints, and recovery requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional resolution of material shortages, documentation issues, nonconforming material impacts, and other production barriers.
• Establish operating rhythms, standard work, visual management, performance metrics, and clear escalation paths.
• Lead, coach, and develop the OSS team while driving continuous improvement and production recovery initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production support, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
• Experience leading teams in a complex manufacturing environment and managing production priorities, material constraints, WIP, work orders, and schedule recovery.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production planning concepts, with strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional issue resolution and operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, configuration control, traceability, and quality requirements.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and Manufacturing Execution Systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Epicor.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, dashboards, KPIs, or visual management systems.
• APICS/ASCM, Lean/Six Sigma, or another related professional certification.
