Director, PMO (Medical Technology)

Location: On-site in Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States; approximately 25% travel, including corporate and field-based meetings.

Annual base salary: $170,700–$303,600, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead one or more complex new product development programs from innovation through launch and post-market surveillance.
• Serve as Core Team Leader and coordinate cross-functional teams, program strategy, scenario planning, and execution.
• Build and maintain integrated program plans covering milestones, timelines, budgets, resources, and dependencies.
• Identify program risks, assumptions, bottlenecks, and interdependencies; lead mitigation and issue resolution.
• Escalate decision points to executive leadership with clear options and recommendations.
• Improve program management processes, governance practices, tools, and templates across the organization.

Requirements

• On-site presence in Marlborough, MA, is required, with approximately 25% travel.
• 12+ years of experience in program management, product or marketing management, product development, or related roles in diagnostics, pathology, life sciences, or medical technology.
• Deep experience leading complex, cross-functional new product development programs and delivering commercially successful products.
• Advanced knowledge of stage-gate product development, Design Control procedures, ISO and FDA quality systems, and regulated development cycles.
• Strong financial, business, risk, resource, stakeholder, and executive communication skills, including influence without direct authority.
• BS degree in Science or Engineering required; a current relevant driving license is also required. English is the corporate language.

• Experience in diagnostics, especially molecular diagnostics.
• Lean program management expertise.
• MS, MBA, or equivalent degree.
• PMP certification.
