Data Analyst III (Healthcare Analytics)

Location: Remote-MO; must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year

What you will do

• Analyze claims, provider, member, and encounter data to identify trends and assess business impact.
• Measure the impact of contract and network changes, validate savings, and deliver standardized provider analytics reporting.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex SQL, Microsoft Excel, and analytics reports.
• Perform data verification, root-cause analysis, process enhancement, and automation activities.
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with business partners.
• Provide technical guidance to junior analysts and contribute to large-scale projects with limited direction.

Requirements

• U.S. work authorization is required; employment-based visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management, or at least 2 years of IT experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL or querying languages.
• Experience with quantitative analysis, data mining, data modeling, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders and work cross-functionally.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and healthcare analytics experience.
• Knowledge of Python, R, and Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with financial modeling, claims pricing, contract or network analysis, ROI evaluation, claims payment, utilization management, provider contracts, vendor contracts, or risk adjustment.
