IT & Identity Manager

Location: Remote, based in the United States or Canada; attendance at company-wide onsite events three to four times per year and occasional office travel may be required.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 plus equity

What you will do

• Own the IT roadmap, priorities, operating processes, service quality, and project delivery.
• Administer Okta, identity governance, SSO integrations, HRIS identity integration, and automated provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Manage the SaaS portfolio and managed devices, including Google Workspace, Jamf, asset records, compliance, licensing, and data handling.
• Define employee onboarding, role-change, offboarding, support, escalation, documentation, and backup-coverage processes.
• Design and maintain automation using APIs, Python or shell scripting, Google Apps Script, Okta Workflows, and n8n.
• Manage vendors, renewals, licensing, IT spend, service metrics, SaaS utilization, and device compliance in partnership with Finance and Security.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems, identity, or SaaS administration within a growing technology organization.
• Strong hands-on experience with Okta administration, Workflows, Identity Governance, SSO, and automated identity lifecycle management.
• Experience with SaaS administration, licensing, integrations, data governance, Jamf Pro, and Google Workspace Admin for Mac and Chromebook environments.
• Proficiency with APIs and scripting, including Python, shell scripting, or Google Apps Script, and experience maintaining operational workflows.
• Ability to define service processes, support targets, asset controls, operational metrics, priorities, and cross-functional project delivery.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada and able to attend recurring onsite company events.

Nice to have

• Experience building or leading a small IT function in a growing SaaS company.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare ZTNA, zero-trust environments, and modern endpoint security tooling.
• Experience supporting SOC 2, HITRUST, or similar assurance programs through IT controls and documentation.
• Experience integrating HRIS data with identity platforms and using n8n or comparable workflow platforms.
