Field Service Engineer NV (Automotive AI)

Location: Las Vegas, NV; field-based with 100% travel across customer locations within the United States

Salary: $32–$38 per hour, with overtime paid for hours over 40 per week

What you will do

• Lead on-site installations of automated vehicle inspection systems and direct third-party contractors.
• Install, configure, calibrate, and validate electrical, mechanical, networking, civil, and software components.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system-integration issues in the field.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service to maximize system uptime.
• Review site layouts, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Manage customer communication, safety compliance, service documentation, escalations, time, and expenses.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Field Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Field Technician supporting hardware and software installations.
• Experience leading contractors or technical installation teams.
• Hands-on experience with civil works, networking, electrical wiring, and mechanical assemblies.
• Working knowledge of Linux-based systems, basic networking, and AutoCAD, Autodesk, or similar technical drawing tools.
• Strong documentation, communication, problem-solving, customer-service, and safety skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 100% across the United States; a valid driver’s license is required.

Nice to have

• Technical certification or trade school training.
