CFO (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid with onsite attendance 3+ days per week. Must be authorized to work in the United States; US visa sponsorship is not currently available.

Salary: $400,000–$453,000 USD/year. Competitive equity is also offered.

hirify.global builds AI infrastructure that converts web pages into clean, LLM-ready markdown and structured data through an API, and is developing its Alexandria knowledge repository.

What you will do

• Build and operate the driver-based financial model covering revenue, usage, cost per request, product margins, headcount, and cash.
• Own gross margin analysis, cost-of-goods instrumentation, pricing, packaging, credits, overages, and enterprise contract economics.
• Build accounting, billing, revenue recognition, controls, monthly close, tax, treasury, and entity infrastructure for a usage-based business.
• Deploy Series B capital, prepare future fundraising materials, and run investor and board reporting.
• Own spend planning, infrastructure and vendor commitments, compensation economics, procurement, equity administration, and banking relationships.
• Build the finance team and technology stack, including hiring a controller and FP&A lead as the company scales.

Requirements

• 12+ years of finance experience, including ownership of the full finance function as a CFO or VP Finance at a venture-backed software company.
• Experience with at least one priced funding round or meaningful debt facility, board reporting, investor diligence, and data rooms.
• Hands-on experience with usage-based businesses, including credits, consumption, prepaid revenue, overages, revenue recognition, forecasting, pricing, and real cost of goods.
• Experience in cloud, infrastructure, data, or API businesses where infrastructure costs and margins were actively managed.
• Ability to build financial models, close the books, establish controls and systems, and provide direct recommendations to founders.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not currently available.

Nice to have

• CPA or Big Four training, investment banking or growth equity experience followed by operating experience.
• International tax and multi-entity experience.
• Experience taking a company through its first audit.
