Head of Finance (AI)

What you will do

• Own budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, SaaS financial modeling, operating metrics, variance analysis, executive dashboards, and board reporting.
• Partner with GTM, Revenue Operations, Product, and Engineering on pipeline forecasting, capacity planning, headcount planning, spend forecasting, and ROI analysis.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, accounting resources, external accounting firms, financial controls, and audit-ready processes.
• Manage revenue recognition, deferred revenue, accruals, prepaid expenses, compensation and equity accounting coordination, expense classification, reconciliations, payroll coordination, and general ledger integrity.
• Lead audits, tax filings, fundraising support, investor reporting, diligence requests, pricing and packaging analysis, vendor negotiations, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Build scalable processes and systems for spend management, cash management, procurement, budgeting, reporting, and finance team development.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience across finance, FP&A, and accounting, including startup experience.
• Experience with board reporting, investor diligence, data room preparation, and financial modeling for institutional investors.
• Experience scaling a finance organization from post-Series B through the next stage of growth, including team, systems, and process development.
• Experience owning or overseeing accounting close cycles, controllership responsibilities, SaaS financials, and ASC 606.
• Strong analytical, modeling, process improvement, and internal controls skills, with the ability to translate data into business decisions.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience with finance systems and tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing or scaling accounting and finance tooling.
• People management experience or interest in building and managing a finance team.
• Experience with international operations, foreign subsidiaries, cross-border tax, transfer pricing, cost allocations, and intercompany transactions.
