Director of Strategic Finance (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own and evolve the consolidated three-statement corporate financial model, including top-down and bottom-up forecasts for headcount planning and capital allocation.
• Build profitability frameworks to measure contribution margins by product, platform, and customer.
• Partner with Product and Revenue teams on roadmap prioritization, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and return on investment.
• Structure complex enterprise contracts and provide pricing levers to optimize deal value and future margin expansion.
• Lead or advise commercial negotiations with infrastructure vendors and manage the cost of goods sold stack.
• Develop customer cohort frameworks and analyze lifetime value and customer acquisition costs across products and verticals.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Finance or FP&A, combining rigorous financial training with operating leadership.
• Experience in high-growth technology companies; investment banking or private equity experience followed by operating experience is preferred.
• FinTech experience required; crypto, digital assets, payments, banking, or brokerage infrastructure experience is a strong plus.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including building integrated, auditable three-statement models for executives, business partners, investors, and regulators.
• Comfort with modern software tools and large datasets; SQL or BI tools such as Databricks are a plus.
• Ability to use AI and process automation, understand B2B and B2B2C API business models, and communicate complex quantitative analysis clearly.
