Senior Staff Product Designer (Data & AI)

Location: Remote in the United States, or office-based in New York, Seattle, or South San Francisco. Office-assigned employees spend at least 50% of each month in the local office or with users; remote employees work from home at least 35 miles (56 km) from a Stripe office.

Annual US base salary: $210,400–$376,800. Additional compensation may include equity, bonuses, 401(k), medical, dental, vision, and wellness benefits.

What you will do

• Design shared systems and new products across data, analytics, databases, data pipelines, ecosystems, startups, and business networks.
• Shape product experiences that help businesses understand and act on their Stripe data.
• Lead complex product work in partnership with product management, engineering, and design leadership.
• Bring clarity to ambiguous strategic problem spaces through design.
• Influence cross-functional teams and overall product direction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of design experience at a technology or product-driven company.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent craft, systems thinking, and end-to-end design.
• Strong understanding of AI tools.
• Experience leading complex product work with product management, engineering, and design leadership.
• Experience shaping ambiguous spaces and influencing cross-functional teams and product direction.
• Must be located in the United States for the listed remote arrangement.
