Sr NPI Engineer (Switchboard)

Location: On-site in Juarez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Travel may be required. Eligibility to work in Mexico is required; a valid U.S. visa is preferred.

What you will do

• Optimize assembly methods, production processes, equipment, materials, and components for switchboard manufacturing.
• Define working-phase sequences for new production processes within product-cost and equipment-investment targets.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead projects meeting schedule, quality, and cost requirements.
• Approve internally and externally developed processes and perform final project tests.
• Support process and equipment start-up, define action plans, and train maintenance and production resources.
• Evaluate new process technologies and lead testing, approval criteria, and external provider selection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, industrial, or a related engineering field.
• At least 4 years of experience as an NPI, product, or manufacturing engineer working with switchboards.
• Strong knowledge of New Product Introduction, project management, Product Lifecycle Management, APQP, change management, cost-reduction initiatives, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Windchill PLM, SAP, AutoCAD, Creo, Microsoft Project, and engineering change management systems.
• Advanced English level required.
• Valid passport and eligibility to work in Mexico required.
