Parts Application Engineer (Power Plant Controls)

Location: Hybrid role in Mexico, Santiago de Querétaro

What you will do

• Provide regional technical and commercial support to Sales Managers and identify parts opportunities.
• Work with customers and operators to define parts kits, spare parts priorities, and maintenance and major parts plans.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Customer Order Administrators, Parts Definers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare project cost estimates, pricing and margin analyses, risk assessments, bid approvals, and commercial proposals.
• Develop customer quotations with pricing, lead times, technical information, and commercial conditions.
• Support equipment including aero-derivative gas turbines, power turbines, combustion air systems, lubrication systems, and related equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in engineering, installation and commissioning, field service, maintenance, customer service, technical sales, or applications engineering.
• Experience managing technical projects and coordinating across multiple functions and stakeholders.
• Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions and commercial opportunities.
• Advanced or bilingual English proficiency with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally, with approximately 25% travel expected.
