A&T Technician III - 2nd Shift (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Niagara Falls, NY, United States; 2nd shift

Salary: $30.00–$36.00 per hour, plus a 10% second-shift differential.

What you will do

• Perform harnessing, crimping, soldering, assembly, and repair of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic components.
• Conduct pressure tests, leak checks, electrical tests, flushing, and cleanliness checks.
• Use portable instruments to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Operate gauges, flow meters, mechanical measuring equipment, torque wrenches, and other test equipment.
• Read mechanical drawings and follow controlled manufacturing documentation.
• Work in shop and laboratory environments while using required protective equipment and handling potentially hazardous materials.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, or demonstrated ability to follow verbal, written, and computer-based instructions in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand mechanical and electronic fabrication and repair techniques.
• Knowledge of the safe handling of electricity, chemicals, gases, and cryogenic fluids.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and complete a full physical examination, including bloodwork, pulmonary function testing, and fit testing.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.
