CW-Engineering Technician II (T2) 2nd Shift (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $21.50–$29.20

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, subsystems, and components.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Prepare logbooks, test procedures, and other engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• Follow clean-room, equipment, personal protective equipment, and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, Texas, on the 2nd shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, work in tight spaces, and lift as required.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts; color vision and tolerance for potentially noisy environments are required.
