Implementation Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York City, USA; hybrid working

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 USD per year, based on experience and relevant certifications

What you will do

• Own customer implementations from handoff by Solutions Engineering through production go-live.
• Build implementation plans, milestones, dependencies, responsibilities, governance, and target launch dates.
• Guide customers through integration with APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, and payment infrastructure.
• Coordinate sandbox integration, configuration, testing, certification, operational readiness, and launch activities.
• Work with Engineering, Product, Compliance, Operations, and other teams to resolve blockers, manage risks, and control scope changes.
• Create repeatable implementation processes, playbooks, and documentation, then complete post-launch handoffs and provide feedback for product improvements.

Requirements

• Strong technical understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication, data flows, and software integrations.
• Experience in technical implementation, delivery, integration management, professional services, technical project management, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of payments infrastructure and payment flows.
• Experience managing complex implementations with multiple technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong project and program management, troubleshooting, prioritization, risk management, and customer communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Engineering and Product teams and maintain accountability across cross-functional stakeholders.
