Biomedical Engineering Co-Op (Medical Devices)

Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

Salary: $27.00 per hour

Medical technology organization developing devices, software, and services for resuscitation, cardiopulmonary care, respiratory care, and emergency response.

What you will do

• Contribute to technology and algorithm development within the innovation process.
• Support engineers in developing mechanical, software/algorithm, and electrical designs.
• Prototype new assemblies and models from concept sketches.
• Use laboratory measurement equipment to support development activities.
• Execute test plans, collect data, and organize results to verify designs.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a college degree program to be considered.
• Pursuing a BS or MS in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar program.
• Currently in the junior or senior year of the degree program.
• Familiarity with laboratory measurement equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to support engineering development and testing.

Nice to have

• Experience prototyping designs, building parts and assemblies, and testing.
• Creativity in developing new assemblies and models.
