Assembly Technician 1st & 3rd (Manufacturing)

Location: Sanford, North Carolina, United States; on-site, 1st or 3rd shift

Salary: $18.00–$22.40 per hour; 3rd shift rate includes an 8% premium and is listed as $19.44 per hour.

What you will do

• Follow documented procedures to assemble and adjust parts and components safely and without defects.
• Use industrial power tools and lifting devices to move and assemble heavy components.
• Complete standard work within approximately 3–15-minute cycle times.
• Apply lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and eliminate waste.
• Cross-train across work areas and learn new assembly processes.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of previous work experience.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive operations.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work the assigned 1st or 3rd shift schedule.

• Experience with hand tools or power tools.
