1st Shift Head Teardown - Assembler/Disassembler L1 (Automotive)

Location: Byesville, OH, US; onsite. Applicants must be able to work in or relocate to Byesville. Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $18.40–$25.97 per hour, plus potential quarterly gainsharing bonus and additional shift differential for off-shifts.

What you will do

• Disassemble S60 and HDEP cylinder heads according to remanufacturing processes.
• Log, inspect, and maintain the quality of head cores safely and on schedule.
• Operate computers, hoists, torches, pallet jacks, presses, hand tools, air tools, and lifting fixtures.
• Use drawings, bills of materials, and specification sheets in electronic and printed formats.
• Perform repetitive manufacturing work involving standing, bending, lifting, and supporting power tools.
• Participate in safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Byesville, Ohio, or be able to relocate there.
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States; visa sponsorship and applications from existing visa holders are not accepted.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand manipulation, grasping, and power-tool operation.
• Ability to stand on concrete for the entire shift and repeatedly bend, stoop, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow standardized work procedures, maintain a clean work area, meet quality standards, and cross-train as needed.
• Able to successfully complete a criminal background check and, if required, a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice to have

• Previous manufacturing experience, especially in automotive or trucking.
• Previous mechanical experience.
• High school diploma or GED; further college education is a plus.
