Production Technician I, Fill/Pouch (Medical Manufacturing)

Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States. Onsite, overnight shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $48,048 annually.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and make minor adjustments to manual and automated filling equipment.
• Perform quality checks, inspect and disposition products, identify deviations, and stop production when necessary.
• Prepare drug formulations, weigh raw materials, clean and sanitize tanks and equipment, and perform filter integrity testing.
• Document manufacturing information, quality checks, cleaning activities, and production records in logs and the POMS system.
• Set up equipment, replenish supplies using a powered industrial truck, and execute batch, code, tank, and sub-lot changes.
• Escalate safety, quality, mechanical, alignment, setup, and performance issues while maintaining a clean and safe 6S work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; no employment visa sponsorship is available.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills sufficient to understand safety, quality, and work instructions.
• Basic mathematics, calculator, measurement tools, hand tools, and computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, work around machinery and chemical cleaners, wear required PPE, and pass the Powered Industrial Truck physical.

Nice to have

• Production technician or manufacturing experience, including preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
