Manufacturing Technician 2 (Medical Devices)

Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States; onsite manufacturing or clean room environment

Salary: $46,000–$69,100 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus

What you will do

• Assemble, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, rework, and repair production equipment, products, and subassemblies.
• Document test results, process data, production records, inventory transactions, and nonconforming materials.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, and Operations on production objectives, process validation, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain production metrics, verify calibrated equipment, and support equipment maintenance.
• Follow 6S, safety, GMP, FDA, ISO, and company quality procedures in a controlled manufacturing environment.
• Support special projects and work overtime as needed to meet production schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Experience with product assembly, testing, troubleshooting, inspection, and shipping.
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment, including torque tools, crimpers, soldering equipment, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics, specifications, and work instructions.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing or clean room environment with standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity requirements.

Nice to have

• Technical degree or trade school certification in Electronics Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in medical device, diagnostics, electronics, or other highly regulated manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ESD practices and experience with Oracle, Agile, or similar ERP/MRP systems.
