Production Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite in Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States. Schedule: 3x12, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with rotating workdays. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $23.31 per hour plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Follow production procedures and schedules to manufacture products according to specifications, cost, volume, wastage, and quality targets.
• Operate machines and production equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Monitor product quality, identify faulty output, and discard or remanufacture defective products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for manufacturing performance analysis.
• Troubleshoot product-line and process issues to minimize reject levels.
• Provide guidance to team members and, for more senior assignments, help oversee work against agreed targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• 0.5–2 years of related experience, or completion of PBS requirements and an assessment at the appropriate level.
• Basic working knowledge of the relevant technical field and basic shop-floor competencies.
• Regular and predictable onsite attendance in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
• Ability to work a non-standard overnight schedule as needed.
