What you will do

• Own the global roadmap, priorities, deliverables, and outcomes for legal template transformation.
• Lead the assessment, consolidation, simplification, drafting, validation, and approval of templates, clauses, fallback positions, playbooks, exhibits, and guidance.
• Set plain-language and user-centered content standards while preserving legal and compliance protections.
• Build operating models and governance for intake, taxonomy, ownership, version control, approvals, exceptions, releases, maintenance, and retirement.
• Lead localization, implementation planning, testing, deployment readiness, stakeholder alignment, and resolution of strategic risks and dependencies.
• Define performance measures and drive training, communications, adoption, lessons learned, and continuous improvement across Legal, business, contracting, Technology, and enabling functions.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor, LL.B., or equivalent law degree.
• At least 10 years of legal or contracting experience, including leadership of complex commercial contracting, legal operations, or enterprise transformation.
• Experience leading complex global workstreams, navigating ambiguity, and influencing senior leaders without formal authority.
• Strong legal and enterprise judgment, including the ability to balance risk, compliance, business value, operational feasibility, and user experience.
• Proven experience delivering legal or contracting transformation at scale and connecting strategy, governance, content, technology, data, and change.
• Executive communication, facilitation, decision-framing, program leadership, problem-solving, talent development, and accountability for outcomes.

Nice to have

• Life sciences experience.
• Advanced training or experience in legal operations, contracting, project management, transformation, process improvement, or change management.
• Fluency in automation, analytics, structured data, and responsible AI.
