Director, Enterprise Legal Management & Legal Technology

Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut, United States; remote or hybrid candidates considered

Salary: $130,100–$216,900 annual salary, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and long-term incentive plan

What you will do

• Own the strategy, governance, administration, configuration, testing, releases, and optimization of the Enterprise Legal Management platform.
• Establish standards for matter management, e-billing, workflows, user access, data quality, reporting, and legal spend management.
• Develop and execute the ELM platform roadmap with Legal Operations and business stakeholders.
• Partner with Legal, IT, Finance, Procurement, vendors, and other stakeholders on scalable technology solutions and process improvements.
• Drive user adoption through training, change management, and platform best practices.
• Develop dashboards and analytics, evaluate integrations and automation, and manage vendor delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Legal Operations, Enterprise Legal Management, legal technology, or related legal systems.
• Hands-on experience with ELM and e-billing platforms such as TeamConnect, Collaborati, Legal Tracker, Onit, SimpleLegal, Mitratech, or similar solutions.
• Knowledge of legal matter management, e-billing, legal spend management, outside counsel management, workflow automation, and reporting.
• Experience as a business owner, platform owner, product owner, or administrator for enterprise legal technology.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, analytical, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution.
