Patient Care Tech - Float Pool Part Time Nights

Location: 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States; onsite night shift

Salary: USD 18.22–24.60 per hour

What you will do

• Provide clinical and personal care support under the direction of registered nurses and physicians.
• Collect, label, and transport specimens; obtain 12-lead EKGs; perform bladder scans and point-of-care testing.
• Assist patients with hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, positioning, rounding, and response to call lights.
• Document patient-care data and support individualized patient and family needs.
• Serve as a safety attendant or telesitter monitor by maintaining continuous visual observation and reporting patient needs or environmental hazards.
• Support admissions, incoming calls, advance-directive records, electronic bed-board management, and EMR downtime readiness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and listing on the Illinois CNA Registry, or successful completion of one nursing-student clinical rotation with written verification.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work part-time night shifts and perform in-person patient-care duties.
