Med Tech (Certified) Weekend Warriors

Location: Brick Township, New Jersey, USA; onsite weekend shifts from 7:00–11:00 and 17:00–21:00.

Salary: $24.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medications under RN or LPN supervision.
• Provide resident care according to individual care plans and physician’s orders.
• Maintain accurate medical records and written documentation.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical condition, cognition, and emotional status.
• Protect residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering services.
• Complete required annual medication training and competency requirements.

Requirements

• Successful completion of Medication Technician training and periodic competency testing.
• Ability to administer medications in accordance with state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in personal care, home health, hospital, or long-term care.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow HIPAA policies.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays and perform onsite physical duties, including lifting or supporting residents up to 50 pounds.
