PRN Medical Assistant

Location: Health Center Float; role supports hirify.global's U.S. health center network

Pay range: $21.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience, and skills

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare exam rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review medical information, gather updated patient data, and record accurate documentation.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications under provider direction and written orders.
• Manage scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical records, referrals, specialist visits, and outside care coordination.
• Process test results, conduct patient outreach, and collaborate with the care team to address gaps in care.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
