Casual/PRN Float Phlebotomist

Location: Redmond, Seattle, Bellevue, Everett, and Vancouver, Washington; Portland and Saint Helens, Oregon, United States. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Salary: $24.80–$27.69 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour float incentive and mileage reimbursement.

What you will do

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other examinations.
• Prepare specimens for testing, maintain patient and specimen logs, and enter patient information accurately.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service to patients and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional patient service centers or client offices as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Washington-issued phlebotomy license required. An application filed with the Washington Department of Health at the time of hire may meet this requirement.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test and be at least 21 years old.
• Flexibility to work overtime and travel between sites when needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Comfort working under minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• At least three months of phlebotomy experience.
• At least six months of current or previous hirify.global phlebotomy experience.
