ED Technician - ER - Part Time Nights

Location: Manchester, NH, United States; onsite, part-time night shift, 7:00 p.m.–3:00 a.m., every other weekend

What you will do

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, personal care, emotional support, and basic clinical needs.
• Observe patients and report symptoms, deviations from normal, and changes in condition to the RN.
• Provide basic support to patients and families in the Emergency Department.
• Handle unit clerical duties, including filing, transcription, charting, sorting patient information, reception, visitor guidance, and phone coverage.
• Communicate questions and concerns to the Emergency Department Lead Technician or ED leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of Licensed Nursing Assistant experience; Emergency Department and phlebotomy experience are preferred.
• Current New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant licensure is required.
• Obtain BLS qualification during orientation and maintain it throughout employment.
• Obtain CPI Foundation and CPI Advanced certifications within six months of hire.
• Obtain phlebotomy certification within one year of hire.
