Physical Therapist

Location: Onsite in Mettawa, Illinois, serving a Health Center in North Chicago, Illinois. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with no weekends.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annually.

What you will do

• Provide patient-centered physical therapy care to client employees and their dependents in an onsite Health Center.
• Evaluate patients, apply clinical reasoning, and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with APTA standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, dietitians, wellness coaches, community providers, and workplace stakeholders.
• Document and report care, participate in Health Center and patient care meetings, and contribute to peer reviews and presentations.
• Develop injury prevention, health promotion, musculoskeletal screening, and exercise programs for eligible employees.
• Teach proper body mechanics and assess and correct workplace ergonomics.

Requirements

• Onsite availability in Illinois is required.
• All applicable state licenses and certifications to practice physical therapy.
• Current board certification, if applicable.
• Degree from an accredited physical or occupational therapy school.
• Current CPR/BLS certification meeting American Heart Association standards, including hands-on skills evaluation; fully online courses are not accepted.
• At least three years of experience as a physical therapist in an outpatient or ambulatory care clinic, including required outpatient orthopedic experience.
