Inventory Control Clerk - 1st Shift

Location: Syracuse, NY; on-site at 6457 Fly Rd., East Syracuse

Salary: $37,987–$60,044 per year

What you will do

• Read and follow work orders, identify required components, and prepare materials for assembly.
• Sort and store materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to product and part specifications.
• Record received and distributed materials using scanners and inventory management applications.
• Conduct daily cycle counts, research inventory discrepancies, and submit variance reports.
• Pick orders for shipping, perform inspections, and complete Certificates of Conformance as needed.
• Report defective or unsafe conditions, support other work centers, and train employees when required.

Requirements

• High school degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Proficiency with internal inventory management computer applications, spreadsheets, Microsoft Windows, and related applications.
• Ability to work independently and refer problems or difficulties to a supervisor.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC procedures.
• Access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
