Senior Translation Project Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Lead clinical document translation projects from initiation through completion, ensuring quality, compliance, budget adherence, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate requirements, planning, resources, timelines, risks, and scope across multiple concurrent projects.
• Act as the primary liaison between clinical teams, medical writers, subject matter experts, internal stakeholders, and external translation vendors.
• Oversee vendor performance, translation quality metrics, regulatory compliance, and project budgets.
• Implement, optimize, and govern AI-enabled translation platforms and translation management tools.
• Review AI-generated translations and collaborate with technology and development teams to improve performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in clinical or regulatory document translation or bilingual quality control and 2 years in translation project management.
• Knowledge of clinical and regulatory documents, including Protocols, Investigator’s Brochures, Clinical Study Reports, and CTD clinical summaries.
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, risk and budget management, vendor management, and regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with CAT tools, translation memory, terminology management, QA tools, and AI-enabled translation platforms.
• Business-level Simplified Chinese and English proficiency is required.
