Senior Localization Project Manager

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operational delivery across an assigned portfolio of client accounts.
• Lead complex localization projects and interconnected workstreams covering software, marketing, multimedia, and documentation.
• Own service performance, including SLAs, KPIs, quality, schedules, budgets, productivity, and client satisfaction.
• Serve as a senior operational client contact, lead governance discussions, and manage escalations, root-cause analysis, and recovery plans.
• Improve workflows, quality, productivity, and automation while coordinating resources, dependencies, onboarding, and change delivery.
• Mentor Project Managers and Project Coordinators and collaborate with program, account, technology, engineering, quality, finance, vendor, linguistic, and DTP teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing localization projects in a language-service-provider or similarly complex global delivery environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience independently leading complex projects or account workstreams with quality, financial, and schedule accountability.
• Ability to manage client relationships, communicate risks and decisions, and drive operational escalations through resolution.
• Understanding of localization financials, including scoping, quoting, budget control, revenue, and gross-margin drivers.
• Ability to coordinate global cross-functional contributors and mentor project delivery staff without relying on formal authority.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise, growth, or multi-service client accounts and structured service governance.
• Experience implementing client workflows, service expansions, operational onboarding, standardization, or automation.
• Advanced experience with translation-management tools, localization platforms, reporting tools, or technology-enabled delivery models.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project-management qualification.
• Fluency in one or more languages beyond English.
