Maintenance Electrician I - Apprentice Weekend Shift

Location: Eagle, WI, USA; onsite weekend shift, Friday through Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $25 per hour plus a 15% weekend shift premium.

What you will do

• Perform emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance on production, facility, and building equipment.
• Diagnose and repair robotic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and controls-related issues.
• Operate maintenance equipment safely and support repairs involving heavy machinery, components, rigging, lifting, and relocation.
• Assist with designing, fabricating, and welding mechanical structures, guards, and special equipment.
• Suggest and implement improvements that increase safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Provide technical support to project managers and engineers while communicating issues and solutions effectively.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience maintaining industrial equipment, including robotics, controls, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems.
• Willingness to attend apprentice classes through a certified approved apprenticeship program.
• Ability to communicate effectively, identify problems, and implement appropriate countermeasures.
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and machine specifications.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance codes and regulations, including OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO, and NEC.
• Ability to acquire and maintain certifications for operating service equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience with equipment and automation used in metal fabrication, painting, and assembly operations.
• Intermediate mechanical aptitude and PC knowledge.
