Location: East Northport, New York, United States; onsite work in an industrial facility

What you will do

• Grease and lubricate facility equipment as directed.
• Replace light bulbs and complete routine maintenance tasks.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians, Auxiliary Engineers, and Water Systems Operators with daily activities.
• Clean facility areas and equipment and perform general plant housekeeping.
• Train on the job and gradually take on more independent responsibilities.
• Work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including weekends and emergency call-ins, as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and perform physical tasks in an industrial environment.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins.
• Interest in learning plant systems and progressing toward an Auxiliary Engineer role.
• Prior experience in a resource recovery facility or industrial setting is preferred.
