Maintenance Technician - Weekend Nights (PLC)

Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas, United States; onsite weekend night shift

Salary: $46,400–$58,000 per year

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair legacy and modern production equipment using PLC systems, including Siemens and Allen Bradley.
• Diagnose electrical schematics, vision systems, sensors, switches, temperature controllers, variable speed drives, motors, servos, pneumatics, and machine controls.
• Maintain electrical systems up to 480V, three-phase, including advanced electronics and motor controls.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment availability and reduce downtime.
• Follow Arc Flash, Lockout/Tagout, electrical, ladder safety, and other plant safety programs.
• Work overtime when required to support production schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and a related certificate from a college or technical school; an associate degree or equivalent training and experience is preferred.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or production maintenance.
• Experience maintaining, repairing, and programming PLC controls, AC/DC motors and drives, servo systems, relays, switches, sensors, solenoid valves, and vision systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication, documentation, and computer skills.
• Ability to work under stress, operate with limited supervision, and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.
