Frontend Engineer, AI Prototyping

What you will do

• Turn customer problems, ideas, and hypotheses into working prototypes for mobile and web experiences.
• Build AI-powered customer experiences using LLMs, AI/ML services, APIs, customer data, and product data.
• Research and evaluate AI models and services for conversational AI, recommendations, personalization, decisioning, generative content, and voice interactions.
• Determine technical approaches for ambiguous AI concepts and deliver functional, testable proofs of concept.
• Create realistic simulations, connect prototypes to content libraries and staging systems, and contribute reusable capabilities to the prototyping platform.
• Define practical guardrails for safe, reliable, and brand-appropriate customer-facing AI experiences.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience building web or native mobile applications with React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI technologies, models, or services into applications, prototypes, or customer experiences.
• Experience with LLMs, conversational AI, recommendation or decisioning systems, personalization, retrieval and grounding, agents, or generative AI.
• Ability to independently move from ambiguous concepts or designs to working software and functional prototypes.
• Experience integrating APIs, cloud services, data sources, and external systems.
• Strong product and design instincts, comfort with ambiguity, and examples of self-directed building such as a portfolio, prototypes, or side projects.

Nice to have

• iOS development experience.
• Familiarity with AI-native development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Copilot, or similar technologies.
