Software Engineer – Frontend (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California; hybrid

Base salary: $130,000–$175,000 per year, plus cash bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design, development, testing, and maintenance of customer-facing interactive web applications.
• Make data-driven technical decisions and solve complex frontend problems.
• Collaborate with API teams, Product, QA, and UI/UX to deliver integrated web applications.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, scalability, observability, security, and user experience.
• Support FDA compliance through documentation, quality assurance processes, and regulatory adherence.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience in a software company.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies such as Vue.js, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
• Experience building and deploying large-scale, customer-facing web applications.
• Strong problem-solving, web security, Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD knowledge.
• Experience with or willingness to learn FDA regulations and compliance requirements for medical software.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Vue.js and its ecosystem.
• Proficiency with AWS services.
• Experience with FDA-regulated products or another highly regulated industry.
• Familiarity with medical imaging products or healthcare technologies.
