Agent Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in San Francisco, Atlanta, New York, or Toronto

What you will do

• Design and deliver production-grade AI agents that drive revenue and handle mission-critical interactions.
• Own the full Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
• Partner directly with enterprise leaders to solve complex business challenges using AI.
• Build scalable packages to modernize legacy commerce systems like order management and fulfillment.
• Collaborate with research and product teams to shape the future of the core AI platform.

Requirements

• Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of persuading both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be able to work onsite in San Francisco, Atlanta, New York, or Toronto.

Nice to have

• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
• Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
• Background as a founder or founding engineer.
