Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States; primarily office-based with hybrid flexibility as needed. Travel of up to 40%, including international travel, is required. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret U.S. security clearance are required.
Estimated starting salary: $231,574.40–$318,414.79 per year, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do
- Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for a portfolio of aerospace and defense programs.
- Own program financial performance, including full P&L responsibility, budgeting, indirect budgets, and cost management.
- Oversee program execution from concept and proposal through delivery, ensuring schedule, budget, technical, regulatory, and compliance objectives are met.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across program management, engineering, operations, and support functions.
- Develop customer, stakeholder, and partner relationships while increasing revenue within the existing contract base.
- Set portfolio objectives, booking targets, market plans, and growth strategies for priority customer missions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute.
- Typically 20+ years of relevant experience, including 15+ years in program management, supervision or management, and aerospace or defense engineering/program work.
- Proven leadership delivering complex aerospace and defense programs, including DoD customer relationships and ISR aircraft modification experience.
- Experience leading capture and business development strategies, FMS or direct commercial sales, competitive bids, and annual bookings.
- Experience with Earned Value Management, financial and cost analysis, strategic planning, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership.
- Active Secret U.S. security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, management, or a related field.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Experience establishing program management methodologies and entering new markets or expanding current accounts.
