Hourly pay: $27.00–$42.00 USD

What you will do

• Plan assignments, arrange layouts, set up, operate, and adjust conventional and automatic machines.
• Manufacture prototypes and tooling for current and future products.
• Use blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to cut and shape metal to precision dimensions.
• Inspect machining operations against specified tolerances.
• Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Marketing, and Quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of related experience.
• Machine shop experience and comprehensive knowledge of the mathematics used in engineering principles and related operations.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform work requiring manual dexterity and coordination.
• Some positions may require access to controlled goods and technologies under ITAR or EAR regulations and may require U.S. person status.

Nice to have

• CNC programming experience with MasterCAM or a similar tool.
