Systems Specialist

Location: Remote within the continental United States; California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii are excluded. Work-from-home role. Visa sponsorship is not available, including for candidates currently on OPT.

Base pay: $102,000–$184,300 annually, with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Design enhancements and new business applications or information systems by integrating technical and business requirements.
• Translate complex Utilization Management and Care Management requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Define technical solutions and specifications while connecting business analyst needs with architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with vendor partners and engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
• Support production operations, investigate user incidents, and participate in technical bridge calls.
• Support scheduled after-hours and weekend maintenance to maintain system stability and performance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Information Technology experience with a bachelor’s degree, 7 years with technical certification or college coursework, or 9 years of Information Technology experience.
• Knowledge of application configuration, cloud computing, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and integration technologies.
• Experience with Big Data Analytics technologies such as HAVeN, Hadoop, Autonomy, or Vertica.
• Knowledge of scripting, web, mobile, service-oriented architecture, and integration technologies, including Python, Ruby, Java, HTML5, SOAP, and REST.
• Experience with requirements management, Agile/Scrum or iterative SDLC methodologies, rapid prototyping, and system performance management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual, organizational, and written and oral communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
