Grid Solutions Manager - Senior (EPC)

hirify.global develops turnkey photovoltaic plants and battery storage projects, manages an independent power producer portfolio, and provides services across development, financing, EPC, O&M, and asset management.

What you will do

• Manage grid infrastructure for utility-scale PV power plants and BESS projects from early development through energization and handover to O&M.
• Engineer and design grid connections, including cables, transmission lines, substations, grid connection bays, transformers, and AIS/GIS switchgear.
• Support project development through grid feasibility studies, grid connection agreements, grid access evaluations, and technical due diligence.
• Qualify and manage external engineering consultants and coordinate subcontractors with on-site teams.
• Coordinate technical tendering, documentation, stakeholder communication, and discussions with utilities, lenders, clients, and technical advisers.
• Identify and follow up on Grid Code Compliance and RfG requirements to support successful grid energization.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, renewable energies, or a related energy technology discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including international grid-connection project management for power plants from medium to extra-high voltage.
• Strong knowledge of energy technology, associated civil and structural works, and electromechanical systems.
• Deep understanding of European NC RfG requirements and their implementation in grid compliance codes worldwide.
• Solid understanding of TSO/DNO structures and grid connection in the UK.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal.

Nice to have

• Experience with grid compliance studies, PowerFactory, PSS/E, or CAD tools.
• Certifications in AutoCAD, PowerFactory, PSS/E, or PMI.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm to learn, and interest in supporting junior colleagues.
