What you will do

  • Develop and execute medical plans aligned with Canadian clinical needs, emerging science, and portfolio opportunities.
  • Build scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals, researchers, and clinical experts.
  • Lead company-sponsored and investigator-sponsored studies and address evidence gaps.
  • Develop medical education programs, scientific communications, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and congress activities.
  • Support marketed medicines, pipeline assets, medical review, market access submissions, special access programs, and launch readiness.
  • Guide MSL colleagues and, where applicable, lead and develop the MSL team.

Requirements

  • MD, PharmD, or PhD in a life sciences discipline preferred.
  • At least 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Affairs or related roles, including 5–7 years in dermatology, inflammation, and/or autoimmune diseases.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare and reimbursement landscape.
  • Proven leadership and people-management experience, with the ability to translate complex scientific information into clear priorities and actions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, business acumen, judgment, and partnership-building skills.
  • Fluency in English and French is strongly preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Availability to travel up to 50% of working time.
