Dermatology MAS Field Manager (Medical Affairs)

What you will do

• Act as the primary medical scientific point of contact for HCPs, medical societies, regulators, and academia in Japan.
• Establish and maintain collaborative scientific relationships through non-promotional activities and scientific exchanges in dermatology.
• Handle Unsolicited Medical Requests (UMR) by providing accurate, high-quality, and unbiased medical information.
• Develop and execute Customer Facing Medical Plans to address unmet medical needs and fill data gaps.
• Gather and analyze medical insights from stakeholders to help shape local medical strategies and product life cycles.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in strict compliance with MHLW Guidelines and company regulations.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid).
• Advanced degree: Master's in life science, Pharmacist license, MD, PhD, Veterinarian, or Dentist.
• Language: Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Japanese.
• Deep pharmaceutical and medical expert knowledge in the therapeutic disease area.
• Experience in Medical Affairs, clinical research, or as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL).
• Ability to communicate complex scientific data effectively to external stakeholders.

Nice to have

• MD with clinical experience and board certification.
• PhD in Life Science.
• Experience with scientific publications.
• Minimum TOEIC score of 730.
