Senior Buyer (Electronics/PCBA)

Location: Hybrid, Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The role requires an on-site, collaborative working environment with a 9/80 schedule.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually.

What you will do

• Identify qualified sources and execute sourcing, supplier selection, technical evaluation, cost analysis, and purchase order generation.
• Develop and negotiate long-term purchasing agreements for moderately complex commodities.
• Build supplier relationships, lead procurement status meetings, and monitor supplier performance.
• Resolve supplier, receiving, certification, invoice, quality, and delivery issues in coordination with Quality and Supplier Development Engineering.
• Maintain supply-base knowledge, pricing and market data, procurement records, and ERP information.
• Support proposals, requisition releases, supplier selection, order quantities, and purchase order compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in electronics or PCBA procurement.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and industry requirements.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and inspection procedures.
• Ability to work in the Salt Lake City, Utah hybrid/on-site environment.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required for the position.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronic distribution and PCB suppliers.
• Knowledge of FAR and DFARS procurement regulations.
• Certification in purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain management.
• Production planning experience.
